Who: World language teachers, any language/level
ready to make this summer different?
As a former teacher, I know teachers plan to get a lot done over the summer but it doesn’t always happen. Let’s make this the summer you take action and clean up your Google Drive.
what we’ll cover
Week 1: Creating a Folder System & File Names
We’ll focus on building the foundation of your Google Drive – a folder system and file naming conventions so Future You will be able to easily find everything you need.
Week 2: Shared With Me, Search Skills, Sorting
Learn how to clean up your “Shared With Me” section and how to make those files easily accessible for your own use. I’ll show you how to search your Google Drive like a pro. You’ll learn the strategy to sort and declutter your files.
Weeks 3 and 4: Work Time and Trouble Shooting
Now that you’ve built your foundation and have the skills you need, it’s time to get to work. This is where the bulk of our work will happen. Two weeks will be dedicated to the task or sorting and decluttering your files. I’ll be right by your side to help you through it! You’ll have the accountability and 1:1 support you need to tackle any doubts that might come up.
Weeks 5: Maintenance
The last thing I want is for you to do all of this work, the school year to begin, and it all to fall apart. Our final week will focus on how to maintain your Google Drive, even in the busy seasons so it can serve you throughout the year.
What you’ll get from this workshop
- Personalized feedback and support from Lisa for the 5 weeks
- A cohort of fellow world language teachers to work with
- A decluttered, well-organized Google Drive

Meet your workshop guide!
Lisa McHargue taught Spanish for 10 years. Her second year of teaching was a nightmare because she hadn’t organized her files well the first year. She ended up working twice as hard and being stressed out all the time. Something had to change. She spent the next 5ish years perfecting a digital organization system and her teaching life transformed.
She’s worked as a professional digital organizer since 2020. Thanks to 38 years of coping mechanisms and undiagnosed ADHD, she is extremely organized. She can teach you these skills so you never have to be stressed by your digital spaces again.
She’s helped hundreds of people declutter, organize and maintain their digital spaces (inboxes, files, Canva, etc) with self-paced courses, resources, trainings, and one-on-on services.
When she’s not geeking out about digital organization tools or minimalism, she’s binge reading fantasy and romance novels or rewatching her favorite season of The Great British Bakeoff.
